The Christophers

AUDIENCE AWARD WINNER

SONOMA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Christophers finds Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh in delectably mischievous form, delivering a razor-witted chamber comedy that slices through the worlds of art, wealth, and long-simmering family resentment.

When the members of a cultured, well-heeled clan gather under one roof, old rivalries resurface and carefully curated personas begin to crack. Penned by Men in Black screenwriter Ed Solomon, the script sparkles with biting dialogue and perfectly timed revelations. At the center is a deliciously acerbic turn from Ian McKellen, who relishes every cutting line. Elegant, talky, and wickedly entertaining, The Christophers is sophisticated adult comedy at its most irresistible.
