Adam Driver, Miles Teller, and Scarlett Johansson headline James Gray’s gripping 1980s New York thriller, the Opening Night selection of NYFF. Teller plays a Queens family man drawn into a shady scheme by his former-cop brother, played by Driver, with devastating consequences at home. Rich in period detail and escalating tension, this masterwork turns crime, pollution, brotherhood, and the American dream into emotionally charged drama. A NEON release.
