All of a Sudden
November, 08 2026 | 7:00 PM | The Sebastiani Theatre
Academy Award winner Ryûsuke Hamaguchi returns with a sweeping, deeply humane drama starring Cannes Best Actress winners Virginie Efira and Tao Okamoto. Set around a Paris elder-care facility, the film follows a director testing a bold new model of care as an encounter with a Japanese theatre artist opens unexpected emotional terrain. Japan’s 2027 Oscar submission, this is ambitious, compassionate filmmaking from the director of Drive My Car. A NEON release.
