Submit your story for the opportunity to be selected for our 2027 Festival.
SIFF engages notable film and media industry jurists and panelists, and continues to grow our reputation for discovering and cultivating new talent worldwide; providing a significant platform for networking and distribution opportunities.
SIFF programs full-length features, documentaries, and short films in the Live Action, Documentary, and Animated categories. We also showcase Culinary, Food, and Wine films across all categories and genres.
We support filmmakers with cash award prizes and provides a generous accommodation program providing deeper interaction with industry professionals, community members, and our discerning film audience in one of the most intimate, engaging, and inspiring settings on the festival circuit.
SIFF showcases the best of the Sonoma Valley region, just 45 minutes north of the San Francisco Bay Area, with several high-end culinary and wine events, lively experiences, industry panels, parties, and filmmaker networking opportunities.

Rules & Terms
Online Submissions
Submissions are only accepted throughFilmFreeway. Please make sure to include a film screening link (Vimeo preferred) or upload your film to FilmFreeway in order to be considered.
Upon submission, you acknowledge and agree that your film may screen up to three times at our venues during the festival. Participating films are offered in-person festival benefits including festival passes and hospitality from our guest relationships department. We do not pay screening fees.
