Michael McCarthy

Describe yourself as a film genre:

Thriller-Screwball Comedy

What is your favorite movie of all time and why?:

The Graduate. It was kind of a dream team with Mike Nichols direction and the screenplay by Buck Henry and Calder Willingham; plus Dustin Hoffman is beyond brilliant in this film, as is the great Anne Bancroft. And I still recite the single, perfect line that encapsulates the lunacy of that era: "There's a great future in plastics. Think about it. Will you think about it?"

Who would play you in a movie?:

Hmm. Jason Schwartzman or Jon Hamm...with a cameo by Adrien Brody.

What's your go to movie snack?:

So dorky (And healthy), but you'll find me with Trader Joe's Go Raw Trail Mix. See? Dorky. I'm sorry.

What Film Title best describes your life?

The Incredible Lightness of Being. Or...on some days the Bad News Bears.
