Matthew Modine is a passionate architect who's life is in a down-cycle since his wife has left him and is about to marry his best friend. He lives as a renter in the top floor unit of a small stylish LA condo building. Michele Laroque is a stressed-out, ball-busting real estate executive who has bought the building and has moved in downstairs. Along with her fiance, she plans to remove the upstairs tenant and create a two-level dream home. Sparks fly in this light offbeat comedy featuring a star-in-the-making performance by Gina Mantegna, daughter of celebrated actor Joe Mantegna.
